5 tips to clear levels faster

Short on time? These habits help on every level.

• Start at the bottom: matches low on the board cause more cascades as new gems fall.
• Save specials for when they'll hit the goal: a Bomb next to ice or a Rocket in the mole's column.
• Swap two specials together. Combinations are always bigger than firing them one by one.
• Look for T, L and plus shapes: they make better specials than straight lines of four.
• Clear fast for three stars: the stars you keep depend on how much time is left.
